Pigs

Lucia has written a report on a chosen animal. She was learning to structure a report and use interesting vocab to describe where it lived and what it looked like.

PIGS

Pigs are warm blooded animals that live on land. They can be pets and they can also be wild animals. Read on to find out more about pigs.

What they look like: Pigs can be a lot of colours, black, brown and pink. Most pigs are fat. They've got a cylinder shaped head, long fat body, short stubby legs and a curly little tail. They can sound like a big snort or a high pitched squeak.

How they survive in the wild: pigs survive by sleeping on the ground, drinking from lakes and feeding on dead animals or scraps.

Where it lives: Pigs live in warm atmospheres. Of its a pet they might live in a pen or kennel. They live in most parts of the world depending on the areas.

What it does: Pigs produce milk and have babies. If you kill them they give you bacon, ham and pork to eat.

Pigs are friendly and loving animals who are quite interesting and therefore pigs can be quite good pets. Even though they are a handful they are really awesome!
