Harry: how the kiwi lost his wings.

We were learning to retell a myth in our own words. Our success criteria was:

• use punctuation
• have an introduction, body and conclusion
• use adjectives 
• use paragraphs
• use past tense

Once upon a time there was boy named Tanemahuta . He was going for a walk through the forest. Then he noticed all his children were dieing by a dragon so Tanemahuta saved all the birds but hen he realized one was missing , the brave and mighty kiwi.

After Tanemahuta had  to attack the dragon to save kiwi.But kiwi got attacked and could not fly. They all got back to safety . Tanemahuta had to tell kiwi he had to grow big fat legs now for on the ground...
